Your cost of living yearly pay rise, assuming you get one, is always far less than the real costs we all have to meet every day. Don't believe Government stastics as they tell you want they want you to hear and believe and never the truth.
They are hardly going to let you know that they are using you for their own benefit. It is in their interests to keep you in ignorance of the truth. The country needs it armies of working slaves to keep those in power rich and us poor.
This applies wherever in the world you live and under what type of regime. Those in power want to hang onto it and keep you in the dark, brainwashed by the media and made to believe that you are free when you are anything but.
If you were truely free, you would earn more than enough money to pay all your bills without using your nearly maxed out credit cards or borrowing from the bank. You would have paid for your home in cash, and not mortgaged yourself up to your eyebrows paying more than double the cost over most of your life.
If you were really free, you would wake up every morning only when you have had enough sleep. You would take as many vacations or holidays as you wish to every year, not 2 weeks a year on some overcrowded package holiday on a beach in August when the costs are the highest.
You would drive the car you wish you could afford, instead of that company car that they take away if you ever leave or some clapped out rust bucket that you can barely afford to keep on the road.
They tell you that you are free to vote to change your Government if you are unhappy with the way they run the country, but they don't tell you that they all play by the same rules and that is to keep you in your place and find more ways to tax your meagre earnings.
Some politicians set out to do good, but once in power, they are indoctinated into keeping the status quo and maintaining the order of things to suit themselves and not you. They are shown how to claim for as much as possible with us footing the bill.
